not just no pork or lard, halal refers to no liqour in the food and the animal is slaughtered in the muslim way. thanks.

you'll find a lot of them in bali... besides, they don't "slaughter" the animals themselves, they buy most of the meat from supermarkets (which are halal)

Oh? I thought Bali is a muslim country... you should not have problem getting 100% halal food if you patronise the restaurants or stalls run by muslim.

Give a try at restaurants: Taj Durbar or Moghul Durbar. Just the halal food the way you want.
