I was not on a raw vegan diet only, I also had hot cooked meals. Skinless chicken breast, tomato garlic sauce, soups, whole grain bread sandwiches, etc., I just had two 16 oz servings of raw veggie and fruit juice everyday. 100% pure acai from Sambazon was part of it everyday, but everything else was mixed around.

You go girl! Juice fasts are awesome. The other answers are great and on point. I just wanted to suggest that you might want to boil some veggies - celery, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, etc. - and drink the broth only if you need to switch things up a little. Also, make sure that you're not juicing a lot of cabbage or beets. They clean the liver, but cleaning it too much is dangerous. You probably only need a couple servings of it over the entire course of your fast. Way to go! :-D

How long do you plan on being on the fast? Don't do it too long, it will leech minerals out of your body. But a good detox fast followed by a very well planned diet of raw vegan foods is awesome! I wish I had the willpower. You are going to feel great and look great. Are you making sure you drink lots of water too? That's a big one. You can do it, let us know how it goes.

okay. my husband just lost fifteen pounds in only two weeks and i lost around six. we're including cooked vegetables and fish and a tiny bit of fruit here and there.

doing more walking too.

make sure you get some good protein in there.
