My son who is 1 yr old was diagnosed with tracheal and larynx Malaysia and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? He also was told he has a small left bronchi. He has been sick his whole little life and the docs say its because he can't cough up the mucus in his lungs like normal people can when they get colds. They have him on a steroid inhaler. They also say he should grow out of it by the time he turns 5. Anyone with kids in the same situation of have heard of it before? Ideas, Experiances?? (yeah sry I had this posted before as meningitis I did the spell check on Malaysia and cit changed it to that...sry...its supposed to be Malaysia where the cartilage is weak)

Tracheomalacia/tracheolaryngeal malacia is the degneration of the elastic and connective tissues of the trachea. Your pediatric otolaryngologist (ENT) should follow and advise.
