The doctor recommended I have EMT.

I'm not sure what it is, but it's suppose to help my sinuses.

Has anyone had this done? How long was the recovery? Was it painful?

You might have the wrong name for this - there are a number of scanning technologies - CAT, PET, MRI that are used to take pictures of the sinuses. The doctors that do this are sometimes called ENTs (which could sound like EMT) - short for ear, nose and thraot doctor. Is it possible that your doctor was suggesting that you see a ENT specialist so you could get some other type of treatment?
