I know someone who was paralyzed in June of 06 and I was just wondering if he would ever be able to do those things again. I know it sounds sick but I really just know he would be a really good father.

It is not a sick thing to like someone in a wheel chair. They are still human. I just watched a show last night on TLC of a woman that was paralyzed and she had a baby. She said her feelings now, when being intimate, are actually stronger than before and they last longer. She was a unique case and just alot more higher risk than normal pregnancys. The thing I liked most about that show is that she said that her and her husband got pregnant the old fashion way... because they actually love one another. If you really want to know, you need to ask him. He is the only one that can give you the correct answer to this question. Every person in those situations are unique.

It doesnt sound sick. I think it depends on the person. I have heard that some parapeligics can become aroused although they dont have any feeling down there. Even if he does not have the ability to get hard there should be nothing wrong with his sperm. A doctor, or maybe even you, if you're inventive, should be able to obtain some for the purposes of fertilization. Congrats on being able to look past his injury. So many people miss out because they cant.

If he is completely paralized from the chest down, then he cannot have "normal" sexual relations as his penis will have no sensation. However, he can still father children by artificial insemination. In other words, doctors remove his sperm and fertilize his wife's eggs with it. The child would be biologically theirs.

if he's paralyzed from the chest down....should it not mean all of it?
He can still have sex....orally;
Have children....how could you if he's paralyzed? - Well, maybe just a hope for you - check with his doctor if he still creates sperm, and how to get it out and put it to good use....good luck

"sex rigidity" and ability to have sex are 2 diverse issues. If I grew to grow to be paraplegic the following day, that could in consumer-friendly words change the flaws i might want to do with intimate company - it doesn't change me desirous to do it. reckoning on the particular set of nerves in contact, some volume of feeling or reaction may be left. i'm no longer in that state, although - i desire those with first-hand journey of their own or of their lover can help you fill you in.

Yes. There is a lot of experience in the world.

I think you can read here a bit about the subject, its about paraphlegic people but its about the same.
