The best thing I know of is L-Lysine, pretty cheap and you can find it in almost any vitamin store. Take it about twice as often as recomended and that should help. Also, look up a list of foods high in argnine and avoid them like the plague. Arginine is an amino acid that, for whatever reason, accelerated viral infections.
