There are a number of home remedies available on the internet and probably in your local drug store. A majority of them will not work. While I suppose anti-viral treatments from your doctor could be an option, most doctors will simply remove the wart. The warts, in most cases, will go away on their own with time and will not come back unless you get reinfected (mostly, not always.) There is no official cure for HPV warts, only treatment for the symptoms. However, as I said before, your body can take care of them in anywhere from 3months to 2 years. And in most cases all your doc will do is remove the wart (in which case you still may be contagious.) The strains of HPV which cause warts are not linked to the ones which cause cervical and rectal cancers... they could be looked at more as a nuisance than a disease. However, if you contracted warts you should probably have yourself checked for other things. HSV-2 (herpes) can be passed even with the use of condoms and in some people will not show major symptoms but can still be passed to others.

There are so 200 +- strains of HPV - 5 or so cause warts - another handful cause cervical cancer. There are vaccines for about 3 of the cancer trains. HP is the same virus that causes warts on the feet (Plantar Warts) which the literature says can be contracted in public showers from people peeing there. It all seems pretty vague really. Condoms do not prevent the spread because skin contact can spread it. Most strains don't have symptoms - even the cancer kind only showers in women - so it is questionable that it should be considered an STD. But get them warts checked out - but really read every ting you can find on the Internet before you decide on treatment type. Good luck

Some people say that you can test for HPV using white vinegar; however, this isn't in any way an accurate test for it. If you do get a "positive" result, it is more likely than not a false reading.
If you suspect you have it, you may as well go in and get a pap smear.

Did your doctornot tell you anything about them? unfortunately they do come back and they may come back with more then one. most people have "flare ups" and there are some home treatments but i dont know if any really work. My friend went through this and one doctor told him that it never goes away and theres no cure, but others say with time and a healthy lifestyle (no smoking ect) they will go away in 2+ years.. i dont know how true ether are. you should telll yor partner becuase she can get them throu contact but she will be on the worst end becuase HPV in women cuases cancer.. please tell her and look up solutions. best of luck. chris

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about 4 yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize a lot of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/XqOyd everything got better.
Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

No, you have to go to the doctor. They need to test you to find out exactly what you have so they can give you the proper treatment.
