Does anyone know what Chinese restaraunts put on their noodles to flavor them? I love those noodles, and bought some but when I cooked them, they were tasteless. I experimented with several things, but nothing tasted quite right. Anyone know the secret?

a little sesame oil (very little it's strong)
dark soy sauce
garlic
grated ginger root
crushed red pepper if you like it hot

You can add anything you like for flavor...a lot of the noodles are cooked in chicken broth, or beef broth..(chicken tastes better) you can add soya sauce if you like it salty or teriyaki for sweet...yummy
