I have gone through this before. It started out to be Panic attacks. After a while I started feeling a ;ump in the front bottom of my throat, I felt like I had my shirt tight around my neck and I was always tugging the front of my neckline down. It turned out to be my thyroid. Your thyroid has a lot to do with running your whole body. I ended up having a disease called Hashimotos disease. My thyroid was enlarged and that's what the lump in the throat was.

yes it's that and adrenaline rushes... on coming disease can bring this on... (more frequently, say you always have lumps in your throat and the heart rate is erratic and you have trouble swallowing...)

relaxing will help this.. as you know... take deep stomach breaths.... do this regularly that'll sure help those butterflies.. frogs.. lumps... ticks... pangs...

:D

make sure you have a good diet also.... drink that water... that will help settle the system to by keeping it cool, regulated and keeping the minerals up to the values they're suppose to be.

which will also help with tension, hypertension, rushes and anxiety.

I was diagnsised with Svt - supra ventriclaur tachy cardia. It was induced by caffeine. I suggest you see a cardiologist just to be on the safe side. It's not life threatning just scary. visit a websit on svt.
