Believe it or not it is an "ovary" and "uterus" party to celebrate the removal of both in two of my friends. We are trying to think of food items to serve at the party which are related in some way - such as deviled "eggs", a cake in the shape of a "uterus" (oh, boy). Any suggestions would be appreciated!

A rice dish would be ironically funny since it is usually connected to fertility. How 'bout caviar? How 'bout foods that are considered aphrodesiacs? Oysters, artchokes, champagne, etc. Sorry, I have kind of a twisted sense of humor.

What a grand idea! It sounds like a fun party.
You might consider making the Rice Krispies treat mixture and forming the uterus out of that, because it's pretty easy to work with and would be good for shaping something. The cake wouldn't be as easy to work with. You could save the cake for writing a funny message or best wishes on.

I'm gonna get hung out on this one but as long as we're going with the slightly perverse . . . . maybe veal?

How about a salad with edible flowers? Pansies, roses, tulips, etc. Or fruit or nuts (the reproductive organs of plants). Pomegranate juice cocktails (poms are a symbol of female fertility - specifically the uterus)

Huevos Rancheros is an egg dish that's hearty enough to make a main dish.

For desert a nice chocolate cake with a ganache icing, raspberries and candied flower petals would be nice (Of course, it's always nice). You could make it a flourless cake that uses eggs to hold its shape (the recipe escapes me at the moment)

Hmm, that's all I can think of. Hope it helps.

WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA ok, here are some ideas. Check spencers and adult shops. They may have foods shaped in all of those weird shapes. How about meatballs in the shape of ovaries with spaghetti sauce? OH MY GOD that sounded awful but it might be what you are looking for. I am so sorry if I offended you with that one. This one is a tuffie, and I thought that I could help but I am at a loss. Good Luck, if I think of something I will get back to you.

How about a dyed boiled egg wrapped in roasted red peppers. Festive and edible - representing both ovary and uterus. Serve with crackers.
