If one of you didn't take the medication properly then it may not have gotten the entire infection from either one of you...Other then that, she would've had to have been with another person that had it.

Chlamydia does not come for no reason.
It is more like (when you fail taking the medication correctly
you may have re-currence of the same infection) because
it never cleared.
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease.
If you said she had it again after being treated there are two things to consider....
1. she either was treated and the treatment was not taken
properly (example: did not take the whole course of medication)_or
2. she had sex and got re-infected.
One of the two.
Sorry. This is the truth.

Yes, it can come back IF the antibiotics given to her were not all taken as prescribed. The primary reason that various "bugs" are getting hard to control is because people think the problem is gone once they feel better, or the symptoms have gone away. When the drugs are given, take them exactly as the doctor prescribed. The bugs, and the doctors are smarter than you. Do as you are told by the doctor. If the prescription was for 10 days, then there should be none left after 10 days. The reason it came back, and probably worse the second time was that it was not completely killed. Some was left, it mutated, so it will be much harder to kill, and is enjoying itself feeding off of it's host, in this case, your girl. She needs to take ALL of the medication as prescribed for the reasons already given. Re-infection is her fault, if she did not take the complete course of medication. By the way, "I didn't know" is not a reasonable excuse, the doctor's orders should have been followed.

What I know is that chlamydia can get cured and treated but ive never heard of a person getting infected again by it for no reason. If you don't have it, somethings kinda off because then how did she get it? Maybe she is cheating on you or who knows, maybe it just came back. :(

Chlamydia can go into remission for long periods of time, even
years. During this time a person is symptom free. Then it can reappear without notice again. Maybe this is what has happened with your girlfriend. Try to keep an open mind. Trust...

I'm sorry man but if she got it taken care of theirs no way it can come back, i'm in the medical field and i know for sure if she goes to the clinic and get tested for chlamydia and it turns out positive we give them something to take when the results come back right then and there but if she goes and see her doctor he prescribes penicillian and that treats and knocks out almost all stds. So what i'm saying is, she never went and got treated or tested, she lied. I'm sorry but youre gong to have to see your doctor again, and tell your girl if she doesn't get treated youre going to leave her cause it can cause problems for you in the future, it can prevent you from having kids.

After the treatment for Chlamydia, it is usually gone out of your system. However, if her sex partner didn't get treated for it she might have caught it again from him, the so called "Yo yo-effect". She may have also got it again from a different partner, like you've mentioned.

No it cant come back for no reason. Did you also get treated when she was treated the first time? If not and you two had sex before her treatment than you may have given it back to her. Men typically are asymptomatic with std's. You may not have know you had it. If she was treated prior to you first having sex than one you has some explaining to do.

Sometimes the medication aint quite strong enough to clear it all. She may feel better for a short time, think its gone and then the symptoms will come back. She might just need another dose especially if it was just recently.I wouldnt jump to the conclusion that she cheated and make sure you are treated to.
