As usual, most of the answers here have no clue about the subject.

Marijuana contains a chemical that some asthma sufferers have reported will stop an asthma attack immediately. Others report that the smoke simply irritates their lungs. Individual results vary so the only way to know what it does for you is to try it. It is extraordinarily safe, as medicines go, so there is little to no chance that trying it a few times will do any lasting harm.

The largest study of the health effects so far was by Kaiser Permanente. They surveyed the health records of 65,000 patients over a number of years. They found no significant differences between the health records of those who smoked pot versus those who didn't.

I don't think it would work to help asthma. If anything, if you have an allergic reaction to the burnt paper, or burnt plant material you make get airway constriction.

The primary drugs to combat asthma are beta-2 agonists and anti-cholinergics. Marijuana is neither of these. Others are corticosteroids which reduce the inflammatory process of asthma. Marijuana is not this either.

I don't think there are any Pros. Good luck.

The fact that marijuana is smoked is bad on asthma. I am not sure about any of the other medicinal effects.

There is no "pro" to smoking pot. If you want to get stupid, smoke it. If you want to get smart, don't. If you want to get over asthma, quit dairy products and any kind of smoke. Simple.
