You should probably go get a 12-Lead EKG to see what/where/how your heart is skipping (or if it's even skipping at all).

If the EKG does show an abnormality, see a cardiologist and get a transthoracic echo (also called a 2D Echo). The echo provides imagining while your heart is pumping. You can see if your left ventricle is pumping effeciently, if you have fluid around the heart, if you have valve problems (e.g. regurgitation, etc...).

Good luck.

i need some points so if you feel that i answered this correctly can you pick me thank you.

I am in the medical field. If your heart is skipping a beat or beats too fast then you either have an irregular heart beat . this can be okay but sometimes not . You need to go have it checked. Or anxiety's also will do that. You will know if its anxiety by if you feel dizzy or scared.

Smoking, too much tea or coffee and excess alcohol are contributory factors, but many other things can cause it. You really should discuss this with your doctor.
