There are many ways to contract the deadly virus, prostitutes, health care providers, law enforcement, and just everyday people like you and me. The HIV/AIDS virus is Now considered an "epidemic" in North America, and rising at an incredible rate, daily. 4 people under the age of 40 contract this deadly virus every hour in the US and Canada! If your smart, and want to live your life out, do not have unprotected sex with Anyone. It is for your life, and if your really smart, you will go and get tested. 25% of our population does not even know they have HIV/AIDS and that is especially with men. Take care of yourself and those who love you. Good Luck.ps: there is now a ground swell by the medical profession to add HIV/AIDS as a LAW and to require all of us to be Tested! thats how bad it is in our countries now. So be very careful - so No Sex is the safest, until your with a "lifetime partner".

Yeah like the person said above me, the chances of a prostitute having AIDS, is probably much higher than someone in another career. No one will truly know the exact numbers.

In North America, there is a 1/500 chance of getting HIV/AIDS when having unprotected sex.
So, if the hooker does 500 guys, odds are she has it. If she (just using "she" as an example) has only done a couple guys, then odds would be lower. Overall, though, it's more dangerous than doing someone who is not a prostitute.

a very high chance as they sllep around a bit- prob not using contraception most of the time plus most prostitutes take hard drugs and can catch hiv/aids through needles. prostitutes are only prostitutes because they have a drug attiction thats out of hand and need to make easy money to pay for the attiction.
All prostitutes are filthy as they dont respect their body and wouldnt even care if they did have something catching

Depends on whether the prostitute has come into contact with the HIV virus...
There again a sex worker is more likely to get regular tests done.
Anyone having unprotected sex could be at risk.

Depending on how long they've been in the business. Prostitutes don't always require condoms, and think about their clients.... There's a very big chance.

Higher than the rest of us. The more people you sleep with, the higher the chances are.

pretty good, if they work the streets, less if they are in a brothel, either way more likely than an average woman because of the amount of blokes going in & out.
