Could be anything.
I was 40, around 163lbs & 5.8" when I ignored my heart attack.
I'm not saying you're having a heart attack..... I am saying; Why are you asking this on Yahoo Answers when you should be calling/seeing an MD?

If you're really worried about it, you should get checked out by a doctor. But given your age and routine, it doesn't sound like a heart attack. A heart attack in men would be more of a tight gripping sensation in the middle of your chest, with pain radiations into your arm and neck, and some other symptoms. If you're either just starting to work out with weights and you're doing it properly, you should feel a little muscle soreness. This is because you're pushing your muscle to its limit, creating micro tears that require a day or so to repair. So be sure you're doing your weights every other day with a rest day or two in between for that muscle group. You might also have over exerted and torn a chest ligament or strained a muscle. You may need to work on proper form and learn how to pace your exercises. To put your mind at rest, you should consider getting checked out by an MD. Then, you should consider spending a few dollars to hire a good fitness coach for one or two session. He/she can help you to -develop a workout routine to meet your goals, -understand how your muscles work, and -teach you how to do exercise properly for best effect and without injuring yourself. Good luck!

Don't think you're immune from heart disease just because you're young. I had a friend whose father literally dropped dead of a heart attack - at 32.
First take aspirin. That's supposed to help if you are having a heart attack. If you have ruled out heartburn or gas as the culprit, go to your doctor immediately.
You should go and get it checked anyway. You doctor could do a sonigram of your heart to check it out visually, in addition to doing an EKG. (the sonigram is painless. the doctor just puts gel on your chest ).
You could see how much it would cost and pay for it yourself if your health insurance didn't cover it. (My health insurance covered it.) But I think you should get one done - either by your regular doctor or a cardiac specialist. Heart disease is the number 1 killer in America, I believe.
Better safe than sorry.

It could be a lot of things, gas, angina, muscle pains, etc. Its hard to tell with chest pains at times. I went to the E.R. once I was having chest pains and they told me everything that was going wrong and gave me medications. I took them the pain was still there. Come to find out when I went to another doctor, they told me I had acid reflux. So I took something for gas than it was gone. I mean sometimes it be the little things,so don't let people scare u up.I hope this help.

see your doctor , they'll most likely do a stress test and ekg (looking for blockages)and take blood pressure resting vs active. otherwise just go see a doctor, i doubt anyone on the web can exactly diagnose what the problem is, did i mention see a doctor? lol
a stitch in time ....saves a zipper of stitches up your chest :)
if you hate going to see one, hate paying, dont have the time, ask ppl on the internet about doctor related topics...its time to stop goofin around if ya think its serious, and if your serious about finding out id go have it checked out :)

If it's not heartburn, see your doctor, especially if you start to feel any numbness on your left side.
