Chronic Sinus Infections?

If I go to the hospital is there anything they can so to clear out my sinuses? I took a 12 nose spay and 4 hours later I am stuffy again. i did not over use it and I have only taken it 3 days in a row, only at night. I'm preaty uncomfortable and I tried a home sinus irrigaton and it didnt help.

I won't subject my body to anti biotics when I am going to get another sinus inection again soon

I just simply want to know if there is a procedure to clear my nose now. Thats why I was considering going to a hospital now. It doesnt matter if your Doctors or not, im going in anyways im just trying to advoid paying a huge hospital bill if they are only going to through anti biotics at me

I have had 5 sinus surgerys and multiple drainages performed by sinus specialist over the past 40 years. I am presently being helped by using a steroid spray nightly (Rhinocort AQ), prescribed by medical doctor. It does not open sinus but has kept me from getting infections for past 3 years.

I suggest you go to a doctor. You may have a bacterial infection and the doctor would be able to prescribe antibiotics to help cure it. It's possible that some of the home treatments you tried may have made things worse, so make sure you mention to the doctor what you tried. You don't need to go to a hospital for this, just your general practitioner.

None of us here are doctors so any advice we give you could be mistaken, and even if we were doctors we aren't seeing you in person.

It sounds like you have allergies. You need to do to the doctor and get tested to find out what it is you are allergic to. That way he can give you correct medicine that will help clear it up.

you need some antibiotics. once the infection is cleared up you will be able to breath again

go into the doctor for sure... they will do something
