You could possibly have a lung infection. That happened to me. I was dry coughing for weeks and when I went to a doctor he told me I had mucus trapped in my lungs. You can try mucinex which is designed to get rid of coughs and/or mucus. If that does not work then I suggest a doctor since it may be too serious.

Quit smoking.

No, I am just kidding. I don't know where you live, but here in East Texas a lot of people have had that. A coworker of mine actually left this morning and went to the ER because he was coughing so hard he was vomitting. I recommend taking Mucinex. Mucinex will break up anything that could be in your lungs, and help you cough it out better. Take a warm shower and drink a little hot tea. Get plenty of rest.

If you're not feeling better after some good TLC, I recommend visiting www.webmd.com

That site can definetely give you some insight on what might be going on inside of you.

After that, you might try contacting a physician. It sounds like you could possible have an upper-respiratory infection, which if not treated, could lead to more serious conditions. If caught soon enough, it would be fine.

I hope this helped, and even moreso, I hope you begin feeling better soon!

Go get a humidifier that should help its probably dry in your house. Or go to your docs and get allergy meds.

Go to a doctor's office or walk-in center, and have a doctor see you. They will probably give you a perscription for it and you will be better.
