Shortness of breath comes from lung or heart problems or more usually...lack of exercise....Chest tightness is linked to shortness of breath. Light headedness indicates a poor flow of blood to the brain....Think about this....you are proabably overweight, inactive and possibly a smoker....what do you think is wrong with you?....Do you see any reason that might cause your problem? I suggest you see your physician soon....or choose a nice granite headstone, rather than wait for happy answers from people on the internet that will intone...rush to the ER....If you have strength to punch in a silly question such as this...then you should have enough sense to go to a physician.

Go for care immediately. You need to make sure that you are ok. More damage is done if you put it off.
