You read wrong. If they went away on their own, you wouldn't have caught them. They are contagious. This is a serious. There is a very strong connection between genital warts and cancer, particularly cervical cancer in women. You are at risk. Unless your embarassment and phobia about doctors is more important to you than staying alive, see a doctor. Really. Get a Pap smear now, and from now on. Cervical cancer is relatively easily treated, if it's detected early. Nice people can pass on nasty diseases, and trust is no substitute for a condom. AIDS isn't the only serious condition that's passed on by intimate contact. You now have a contagious disease, which threatens your life and anyone who has contact with you, or with someone who has contact with someone who has had contact with you, and so on. Safe sex isn't optional, it's necessary. In Canada, there is a vaccine which has become available just recently, which protects young women against HPV (human papilovirus). It won't do you any good now, but it will protect people who haven't been in contact with the virus (your daughters?) If you don't get treated, you could pass it on to them before or during birth.

I don't have any real facts to support this, but if you have genital warts, I'd suggest going to a doctor about that. Getting rid of them isn't getting rid of them for good. They come back.

I never heard of this. I highly doubt it. Maybe you can do an online search to see if there are any things you can use to remove them, but The only way I have heard of is getting them removed my a doctor.

NO! that is totally not possible. There is medicine for it ..but I dont think its completely curable. The treatment is painful..either they burn them off or freeze them off...and chances are they come back so you have to keep going back to get them removed.

No! Go to the doctor. They will give you meds or burn it off. It doesn't really hurt. Good luck.

No. It can probably dry it up but it won't cure it.
