For you nit-wits that think it is better to run to your computer to ask what to do when someone is having an emergency...seizure, diabetic emergency, not breathing, or whatever....when the person is actually having the emergency before your eyes, rather than calling 911 to get the person help, dont forget to ask where the nearest railroad tracks are in your area so you can immediatley run to them and sit down between the rails. Also, when you get there, dont leave untill the train passes.

It's about time someone said it. I couldn't have said it better myself. You are a genious. I can't believe that someone would leave the side of a person in a real emergency Rather than calling 911 they log onto Y!A to get some unexperienced, ignorent...probably 13 or 14 year old to tell them what to do. Sure, this is fun..and I'll admit addicting but come on!!! I'd hate to see what a person like that would do if their computer was acting up...probably call 911!

I totally agree. If someone's life is in danger, you can't turn to a website.

Not only that, but many people here a) Are not trained medical professionals, and b) Don't have a clue about the condition themself and give dangerous answers. Some dude on here said to give insulin for a hypoglycemia attack! Hello! That can make an already bad situation fatal!!!

(My apologies to the wonderful people on here who really do give great advice and suggestions. I am talking about people who give dangerous misinformation and might kill people)

Diabetes is not something most people really know anything about (unless you have it) nor something to play around with. Just because Joe Public's great 90 year old aunt died of "the sugar" doesn't mean they know how to give medical advice on how to treat Type 1 diabetes in a young child. Guess what? A special cure "diet" is not going to work here.

DON'T USE YAHOO FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL ADVICE! Don't waste time, and you never know what kind of wrong info Joe Public will tell you hoping to get points.

Silly newbie. People know this already. You are just as bad as the "nit-wits", pimple-brain. After you've been here a while, you can calm down a bit and start answering questions instead of handing out these useless, hysterical remarks.

I agree.
I especially hate the question that people ask about their children having a dry cough for days on end, or the ones that say my child's blood sugar is 400. What should i do ?
It's really sad.
