96 is ok, but 64 is too low, which is why you get shakey. Test often, and keep an eye on your numbers. Eat small meals or snacks every few hours during the day to maintain a healthy blood sugar level. If the low numbers keep showing up, get in to see your doctor right away. Good luck.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

In the short term, yes, correct the glucose level by eating something, and in the long term you should talk to your doctor. If you are keeping a daily log of food, activity and insulin/meds and testing frequently, this will help the doctor. Soon you will get better about predicting and correcting by yourself.
As time goes by you may start to develop some hypoglycemic unawareness - good, since you won't suffer from shaking, but bad, because you may not notice that you are dropping low. Most importantly, do not drive when you are low. Know where your blood-glucose level is at before you get behind the wheel.

Are you on isulin? I soppose you are if your sugar was that high.
Are you taking any other meds for high bloodpressure or anything else? They can effect your sugar.
If your sugars drop below 90, stop what your doing, drink 1 half of a cup of orange juice and sit until you feel stable.

Wait at least 20 min. and take your sugar again. If it is in the 90's good.
Please keep track of your sugars. Write them down everytime you take it. I did it for my mom. All you need to do is write the date, the time and the sugar level. Take this info to your doctor.

Call you doctor asap and tell him/her your problem especially about your sugar going down to 64. They shound be able to give you some advice a bout changing or amounts of insulin you should take . Don't delay. If its too low, you can go into shock.
Good luck

Are you injecting insulin or taking oral meds. You either have too much medication or not enough calories or are burning too much sugar. Call the Dr and he can help adjust your dose over the phone. Being too high is dangerous in the long term for your heart, kidney, eyes and feet BUT being too low is acutely dangerous. You can pass out and die if your blood sugar got too low.

yes there is a need to take fast action because 64 is already hypoglycemic. when the brain is deprived of sugar (glucose) for a long time it could result to coma. consult your doctor now. always carry candies in your pocket and drink fruit juices whenever you feel hypoglycemic and take your insulin or antidiabetics medications ONLY as prescribed. :-) God bless you.

call your doc. 64 is way too low. keep glucose paste or tablets close at hand, as well some protein such as string cheese. if you're on meds, they prob need to be reduced. your pancreatic beta cells have probably regenerated. i've gotten as low as 41, several times. it causes brain damage with memory loss problems. great job getting it under control so fast!! mine is out of control again...no medical insurance = no medications and doctor care.

64 is not dangerously low. if you are getting the shakes, though, try eating some protein, like a piece of cheese...it helps to stabilize your blood sugar. but if your doctor's appointment is more than a few days away, call their office and let them know...they are the ones who need to decide if you should wait or not...they know your general health condition and your medical history. good luck.

It sounds like you need to fine tune your control. Best to talk with a doctor or a nurse that deals with these issues.
