Herpes isn't transmitted by saliva, only blood and semen or if you have an open wound or skin that comes into direct contact with a herpes sore. Also remember that there is different kinds of herpes like herpes simplex A, chicken pox's, cold sores, herpes simplex B, genital herpes, and also shingles.

if you have an opening cut scratch abrasion in your skin yes.. it has to be thru blood stream or mucous membrane such as the eye nose anus vagina or in mouth hope you washed it off dude.. we have poors in our skin that can absorb it too um chicken pox is a herpes zoster virus well same as cancer sores and herpes contagious..
