Have your sister inlaw go to social services and apply for a.f.d.c. (aide for dependant children). They will quailify for both food stamps and cash aide and this will help them pay the bills. Also, if your family is affiliated with a church, there is a special fund for needy families called a "benevolent fund". This is also an option. Try calling your local "Salvation Army" as well. They often will help pay utility bills (once every two years, i believe) in times such as this. God Bless your brother and family!

Earlier this year, a friend of mine contracted Guillion-Barre. She too, was paralyzed and had a tracheotomy. It usually is at it's worse about 3 weeks into the illness and then slowly, but surely he WILL come out of it. He will probably have to have physical rehab, but my friend is completely back to normal now. She began to get ill in October. By Thanksgiving she was back at home with her husband and children. Don't give up hope. I hope that he is at a good medical facility. My friend was in a Montgomery, AL hospital, but was transferred to UAB hospital in Birmingham, AL. They are one of the best research hospitals in the US. I am sure that they would counsel with your brother's doctor's over the phone. As far as the bills go, I'm not sure, but keep digging. Check out the website on Guillion-Barre. They may have some links to help there. Good luck!!

You need to speak to someone in social services at the hospital. They should be able to get you some help or refer you to someone who can. Call radio stations and TV stations if you have to. They love stories like this. This must be aweful and I hope he comes through this alright. Once he is out of the hospital he should be able to file for disability.

I assume he's in medical institution getting treatment, observed with the aid of Physiotherapy. there'll be some durable -yet recoverable, disabilities, so there'll be fairly some help and help required. only be there for him whilst he desires that. do not do each thing for him, he desires to be energetic and do for himself so he aids his very own restoration, yet help would be mandatory. between the flaws you will possibly be able to desire to do is learn how to do rub down, and do so every day, it incredibly is a competent thank you to facilitate the returning of expertise to limbs. it incredibly is in all probability the 1st time he had it, and if he's youthful, he will recuperate, virtually to standard besides the shown fact that it would desire to take a collectively as. desire him success....
