I'm planning a party for a girl who's turning twelve. Any suggestions?

I kind of depends on the type of girl she is. Some really good parties for tweens are
#1 a fear factor party (have them eat anchovies or spinach or whatever they may think is gross)
#2 Just have the kids over and put out a bunch of games all ready to go. They will play them if they are out and easy to get started
#3 Scavenger hunt through the neighborhood. Have them break in to small groups and go door to door collecting things (like a pencil, a paperclip, a plastic bag, a candle) from the homes. Which ever team has the most items first wins a prize.
#4 Pizza and movie
#5 Movie night and sleep over have crafts for them to do, make and decorate cookies, beeding necklaces etc.
If you do an internet search for party ideas 12 year old, you will get tons of ideas.

My twelve year old niece had her birthday party at a hotel that had an indoor pool with waterslide. Last year she choose 6 friends to go with her to an out door water park, which gave them discounts for the group. I guess it all depends on how many will be attending. I've also heard of massage and makeup parties. You have a massage therepist, and a hairdresser come to your home and fix the girls up. That's what my niece is doing this year and all the girls are apparently raving about it.

I just had my son's party last week at a skating rink. It was awesome! He's young though but the skating rink could range to all different ages for a party. 12 is still kind of young do that could be good for her also
The adults even had fun. I put ''glow'' earrings, bracelets and necklaces in the girl's candy bags and regular glow sticks in the boys'...I kept the whole retro, neon theme going. I even put neon playdough in the candy bags lol
That would be a good idea for you (excluding the candy bags unless you want them) everyone could skate and she could wear a cute little tiara so everyone who isnt there for the party, knows it's HER birthday and maybe she could have a slumber party after. Oh well...good luck :)

Chuckie cheeses, an ice skating rink, Maybe an indoor pool party. Some hotels offer big discounts in the winter. Bowling Alleys are fun too.

ice skating rink- fun, you can invite a lot of girls, but may be a little pricey

movies- fun, entertaining, lots of people can come, and if you tell everybody to bring like 5-10 dollars it wont be that pricey

sleepover at your house- fun not pricey, have lots of snacks for the girls and you can invite couple of girls not to many though

have fun and hope i helped

An amusement place where they can go go-carting is a lot of fun since probably they want to drive. This website has lots of fun ideas also.

Have a sleep over at a motel that has an indoor pool, or take them to get manicures.

Some twelve year girls can be just as adventurous as boys.
That's why I would suggest PAINTBALL!!!
