I know my husband goes to strip clubs. I've never been to happy about it but he says its just to help entertain clients at work. He says its completely innocent and always just watches the dancers.
My husband just told me that a few months back he was at a strip club and he got a lap dance. Apparently the dancer took down his pants and his boxers got pretty wet. Could HIV have been transmitted if her fluid seeped through his boxers and into his urethra?

If she took down his pants, which is illegal alone, I doubt it was just a lap dance. If you have slept with him since then, get yourself tested and leave the jerk.

A person infected with HIV may not show any symptoms, and still be capable of transmitting the virus to others. Consider testing for HIV if these factors apply to you, or your partner: Engaging in unprotected sex with new partners. HIV can be transmitted through anal or vaginal sex without a condom, as well as oral sex without a latex barrier. Properly following all instructions on condoms, barriers, and anti-infection gels to insure you are best protected is one of the most effective ways to remain safe. Engaging in unprotected anal sex. The anus is especially prone to micro-tears along its soft tissue, making it easier for HIV to enter one's system. Thicker condoms made to be tear-resistant should be used whenever one has anal sex with an untested partner. Sharing hypodermic needles. HIV can be transmitted through blood, and dirty needles are a potential source of infection. Needles used in tattooing or body piercing are also capable of spreading HIV. Always insure you are being treated with a fresh needle, and that your doctor or body-artist disposes of them properly after use. Having a history of infection with other sexually transmitted disease, including syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, or hepatitis. Having one or more partner who shares these high-risk traits.

There is a very slim chance, so I would have him checked out. I would be checking into your husband's story as strip club usually don't allow that type of contact. It is violation of most state conduct codes, blah blah.

You know I really don't think so but I think he should be tested....and you should stay away from him sexually....
How can you take this from him?...It is so degrading to you...don't you see that?....
Why do you take that from him, he is spending family money on watching other women, why can't he entertain at a nice restaruant?.....It probably costs like 10. a beer....I don't even know him obviously but you are being treated like a door matt...don't you see that?.......get some self esteem and leave his ugly butt.....please...like yourself more than this...

i really need for people to start reading up about HIV. why don't you google it or something. go to the health dept and get some reading material. and the answer to your question is no. your husband doesn't have aids, well at least not from that incident.

Highly unlikely...and it sounds as though your hubby could be telling you porky pies...if it's all completely innocent how come his pants were down...that has to have some level of cooperation...

Very, very, very low possibilty. To give you an idea. The odds are only one in 90 that you would get HIV with a needle stick with an infected needle. Good luck.
