I live in military housing and we found mold in our house and my son has asthma. I called the housing line and they said they wont do anything about it. Is there anyone i can call over the weekend to help with this problem.

Yes, mold is very harmful to everyone in the family. Mold emits spores into the air that can cause a multitude of lung problems......like bronchitis and pneumonia. Bleach will take care of the problem temporarily, but it'll grow back. If you do decide to wash where the mold is, make sure you have a mask on, and keep everyone else away from this area.....including animals. Make sure you make contact the appropriate people on Monday. If you don't get a response, then go higher up. Be careful and I wish you the best of luck.

It depends on the strains of mold growing. Some molds will do no harm. Some can cause your son to have asthma attacks, or allergic reactions. Some molds like actually produce mycotoxins which are lethal to anyone.

Yes, mold is harmful to all of you, not only your child. You need to get someone to help you with this. It's not like it'll kill you tonight or anything, but you should get it taken care of very soon. Call anyone you can think of to help you get other housing.
