We are a retail store and due to Christmas being our busiest time, we are now planning our 'Christmas' party. Budget $1400. Tried bowling but unavailable on a Sunday evening (this is the only time our store is closed so that everyone can attend). Thanks, in advance, for your ideas.

You could rent out an AA meeting room and have the food catered or, the stores best cooks could make the food. They should be rewarded with a gift for their efforts. Doing a Xmas party this way would leave you money in your budget for door prizes or other gifts or prizes.

I agree with your first answer, or have them rent a building and have a bar-b-que. You can also have door prizes, dancing, games ect. Best of luck, have a good time.
