What's the difference between Splenda "sugar" and the others?

I know Equal and Sweet n Low are carsinogenic substitute sweeteners, but Splenda says "made from sugar so it tastes like sugar"....

it does taste like sugar. the other sweetners are not the same in taste, if you have tried them you know what you mean
