No. Once you have it, you have it for life. It will come and go. It is a virus.

No once you have it you always have it. However it does go dormant and sometimes takes a while to show up. If you catch it it can take up to 10 years too become active in witch case you would test positive. If it is dormant you can still spread it.

I have HPV and my dr. told me that it can go away on its own. I've had it for 2 years now and its the same as when I first got it. Sure my dr. wouldnt lie to me saying that it would go away on its own.....
