My Mom has diabeties, I know I have to call 911 but what else would I have to do if she fell out one day and what supplies would I need?

there are 2 types of coma:
1-hypoglycemic:
symptoms:
1-SWEATING (WET SKIN)
2-TACHYCARDIA (fast heart rate)
3-tremors
4-pallor
5-iritability
6-headache
7-confusion ----------->coma
treatment:
1-if conscious--------> oral glucose (sugar,juice)
2-if unconscious ------->glucose 50% 50ml IV + adrenaline SC
2-diabetic ketoacidosis (hyperglycemic)
symptoms:
1-anorexia and nausea
2-abdominal pain
3-thirst,more freq. of urination and DEHYDRATION (DRY SKIN)
4-ACETONE BREATH ODOUR
5-stupor ---->coma
treatment:
1-SOLUBLE INSULIN 20 U IV
2-HOSPITALIZTION

Not enough info. What do you mean by "fell out". If you keep track of her blood sugar, and if she stays on a healthy diet and keeps her weight down, she should be fine. I've been diabetic for three years now and have had no emergencies at all. Of course, I'm pretty careful about taking good care of myself.

likely problem would be insulin shock. always keep something close at hand that is high in sugar, that you can get into her mouth without her choking. if she's concious at all, most recommend orange juice.
