I'm talking the heartrate you get after using cocaine (very high). It's been about 3 hrs since my dose but my heart keeps pumping fast. Any experienced people out there know a few tips? I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah it is and nah it's not a serious thing, happens all the time. It's just that I stayed up the whole night doing yay and now I wanna drink coffee but I can't cuz my beat is too fast. I just wanna lower it so I can safely drink caffeine. Have you even tried cocaine? Not to insult but you know the saying "the blind leading the blind" kinda describes your advice :)

Your best bet would be to go to your nearest E.D. (US)/A&E(UK) for benzo's and a referral to rehab before you kill your fool self. I'm assuming you have less sense than that, so let me suggest you try a Valsalva maneuver first: take a deep breath, hold it, and strain to increase the pressure inside your chest and abdomen. Repeat a 20-second Valsalva a few times and see if it helps. If not, a second attempt at vagal stimulation would be carotid massage: Feel the carotid pulse in your neck just below the angle of the jaw, and massage with moderate firmness for about 20 seconds and repeat a few times. Vagal maneuvers will probably only work for a minute or so, but it's worth a shot. Avoid alcohol: the mix results in cocaethanol, which is associated with side-effects, including heart attacks in young, healty people, for many days following.

Your best bet in this case is to go to the emergency department of your local hospital. They will be able to either help you or monitor you to ensure that you will not experience a cardiac arrest. Don't worry, they won't call the cops. ;)

Don't bring cocaine into the department, though, that just puts them in an ethical dilemma.

Would it be a waste of my fingers' energy to say that you probably shouldn't be doing cocaine anyway?
