Take paracetamol to reduce your temperature, this will make you feel a lot better, take no more than 8 in a day but keep them regular at every 4 hours, your blood pressure is too high, this will give you a headache, you need to see your gp for medication, reduce the amount of salt you are taking as this increases your blood pressure, drink more fluids, water milk, no cafine..xx..

I am 47 and found out I had high blood pressure when I was 17. I've been on medication for it since then. You need to see a doctor and see if medication is needed. You need to eat a LOW SALT diet and get plenty of fluids. Eat lots of veggies and fruits, stop eating red meat, and stop eating high fat foods. You also need to exercise-just start out walking if you haven't been active in the past. Just walking every day will make a big difference over time. If you are having headaches, you really, REALLY need to get to the doctor and get some help! High blood pressure will kill your organs-heart, kidney, brain etc. If your organs die, then you die. Don't put this off-take care of yourself!

The B/P won't cause the cold but the headache could be related to the B/P. If you took medication for the cold that could explain the hypertension, espically if you have a history of it. You may want to change medications if you are taking an OTC cold med. If your pressure continues to run high you need to see your MD. You are at risk for kidney failure, stroke, and whole list of other problems.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

are you pregnant???

if yes or there is a possibility you are then you need to go to A&E and be checked over immediately, as the above are symptoms of a pregnancy condition called pre-eclampsia

this is very serious for pregnant woman and treatrment needs to be sought immediately as its dangerous to both the baby and the mother,,

my wife had it and it led to our baby being born 11 weeks early via emergency C section!,,, our baby is fine though, so dont worry too much if you are pregnant,, they can usually stabalise it for a few weeks before action needs to be taken,,,,

though if it is pre eclampsia then the only cure is delivery!

if your not pregnant or there is no chance you are i would still recommend medical attention of some kind as soon as possible as its obvious somethings not right,,

it could be something not to worry about, but you wont know and wont be able to put your mind at ease till you know,,

and if it is (god forbid) something serious then time is always of the essence

go to www.netdoctor.co.uk / .com , you can imput your symtoms there and they can give you some idea (not a diagnosis) of whats up

or call NHS direct!!!!!

though my motto is,,, if in doubt, get yourself checked out!!!

i hope all turns out ok whatever you decide!!

If you're in the UK, give the NHS Direct helpline a call 0845 4647
They'll log all your symptoms on their database & advise you with regards to what you should do.
They're really helpful & will tell you if you need to go to hospital etc...
Good luck & I hope you get something sorted & feel better
