I don't eat liver and onions, because as a child I was forced to try to eat it, and it made me want to upchuck. I'd be sent to bed early whenever I didn't eat my dinner. I had a strict mom. I now don't eat many nuts due to an allergy with them. That includes: hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, walnuts, and pecans. I have an allergy to eggplant, and Kiwi as well. The inside of my mouth get very itchy and irritated, and with some things have had my throat close to a small orafice. It's scarey. I also don't drink buttermilk, not liking the sour taste. So I also am not a sour cream eater. The same with sourdough bread, I don't like the sour taste. There are other foods that I'm not a lover of, and I eat them for nutrition only. And that's when it's served to me, and I have not done the cooking. I was taught, it is impolite to not at least try something I've been served. So I taste it at least, to determine if it's edible and enjoyable. that's the proper thing to do, to have good manners.

Human like yourself.
People who don't eat pork:
vegans, vegetarians, practicing 7th Day Adventists, mormons, jews, muslims, people who believe that pork is unhealthy regardless of how well done you cook it, and people who don't like the taste or who own a pet pig.

Me! I miss pork because it is the tastiest meat, but I gave it up for health reasons.

I'd say family but were not that picky. I know of many relgions who pass up pork but none pork alone. Would picky eaters fit? Or finicky?

Most of my family defines edible as non-poision(roughly half of us have been Canadian Army Survival Instructors)

Before I turned vegetarian, I was a meat-eater but I never ate pork. My dad never let me eat pork, for his religious reasons I think.

Picky. Or stupid. If they will eat ANYTHING else, there's no religious reason behind it. Shunning pork is fine with me if they also shun mollusks because that leaves more for the rest of us.
