It is possible. Lifestyle choices can increase the risk of having a heart attack. For example: smoking, drug abuse (especially anytime of amphetamine use), obesity, lack of exercise, diets high in fat & cholesterol are a few to name. There are other risk factors present such as family history & race.
The prognosis for a younger person having a heart attack is usually fairly poor. As a younger person does not have the advantage of an older person with developing collateral circulation. Basically collateral circulation is the bodies ability to grow new blood vessels around blocked arteries to feed the heart. Older people have had much more time to generate new vessels. It is also highly dependent on which artery is blocked and what part of the heart is damaged. Heart attacks are caused by a lack of oxygen to the heart due to either a clot or blocked arteries. Once the artery becomes blocked off, permanent muscle damage occurs. Therefore the heart is not able to function at full capacity leading to possible irregular heart rhythms.
If you or someone you know have been having chest pain/pressure, shoulder blade pain, jaw, neck, arms, tooth pain...or even numbness & tingling..... I suggest having it checked out immediately. Blood work can be done to determine if there is heart damage. Also an EKG can be done. An EKG looks at the electrical conductivity of the heart & can be a great diagnostic tool to determine if heart damage has occured. Also a stress test can be performed to check for ischemia (lack of oxygen to the heart.

A person can have a heart attack at most any age.
It is unusual in people under say, 50ish.
Barring preexisting medical conditions.
Or exposure to a drug or chemical.
The chances of a woman, 30 yrs of age, in good health with no chemical dependencies and no exposure some other chemical agent would be very, very slim.
I would even call it suspicious.

It depends on her health and living conditions. Stress ect. Family history of heart attack also makes this rise.
Calm your self and take a hot bubble bath, start some light walking. Stop smoking. Live a healthy life=living longer. Reducing chances of having a heart attack.

Hi there. Yes, it is possible with a strong family history and factors related to lifestyle. This includes but is not limited to obesity, hypertension (high blood pressure which now is considered more dangerous for a myocardial infarction aka heart attack than once thought). High cholesterol levels, high triglyceride levels.Another more frequent cause I have seen lately is heart attacks related to heavy usage of cocaine in both sexes in their 20's. Have a nice life and take care of yourself well.

yes, anyone of any age can have a heart attack depending on the condition of the heart, cholesterol, lifestyle etc.
Women (before menopause) in general have a lower chance of heart disease than men, as oestrogen is thought to have a protective factor against it. Following menopause however, the protective factor is lost as oestrogen diminishes.
If you believe you may be at risk of heart disease including heart attack, visit your doctor who may prescribe some medication and assist in lifestyle modification.

Sure, heart attacks do not discrimated based on age - it has to do with the fats built up in your arteries of your heart.
Are you a heavy person? Have you had you cholosterol level checked recently? If it's low then your chances are small, if not, see your doctor and express your concern and perhaps a different diet/eating pattern.

Having a heart attack has no age factor. If you are suffering chest pains and weakness in the arm get with your doctor or the emergency room immediately.
