that's funny-in Louisiana crabs get people, and it's not a good thing for 'em. That condition ends up in the crabs getting boiled in a big pot.

Don't listen to Medusa (above). I gave a dollar to her study and she went to Taco Bell. Did not bring me anything either!
In reality-- some coastal societies used crab stakes, poles set in the surf that when a person was tied to them the surf would come up to the neck line, for a gruesome form of execution. When the tide came in crabs would literally eat the victim alive. Nasty but effective.

Not sure if this is a frivolous question, but it intrigued me. Crabs or pubic lice are a sexually transmitted disease. So ask that question again. What would a crab get from a human being? You get lice by having sexual relations with someone who has them and passes them on to you, with heavens knows, what else.

I think we should apply for a government grant to study this topic further. after all, if it is government funded, it's bound to be 1) imperative to improve society 2) easy as hell 3) can be conducted in a tropical environment complete with cocktails & cabana boys 4) very lucrative....lol
