For a diabetic, obviously sweets will cause your blood sugar to rise, but that doesn't mean that you have to confine yourself to never having anything that tastes good ever again. The trick to managing your diet is moderation. You don't necessarily have to avoid (for example) ice cream totally, but if you do have some, adjust your insuin accordingly (if you use fast acting insulin prior to meals and snacks), and don't eat a lot - have a cup rather than a bowl, and don't do it very often.
You don't have to so restrict your diet that you can't live, just do your best to make indulgences small and uncommon - and keep your blood sugar as close to normal as you can.

Yes it's okay but it depends a lot on your blood sugar levels and how well they are being managed. Plus it has to be done in moderation
My son has type 1 diabetes and eats sweets occasionally and he does fine. Sweets and all fast digesting carbohydrates such as white rice, white bread, potatoes and fruit juices can make the blood sugar levels rise significantly, so it's important to eat them in moderation and to adjust the insulin dosage in accordance with their intake.

yes. Sweets can be put into your meal plan from time to time. A trick that I have tried is sometimes something as small as a hersheys kiss will do the trick!
I am a type 1.

Yes it is okay to have sweets. I have had diabetes for 54 years and no problems. I always had sweets once in awhile. You just work it in your diet by counting carbs and take your medicine accordingly.

It is fine to have sweets in moderations. If you find that your sugar is 60...then the best thing to do...better than sweets...is drink some orange juice. The orange juice will help regulate the blood sugar. My father used to have diabetes...plus my mother...and mother-in-law all have it. I hope this helps.

Nope. Forbidden. Sweets immediately upon consumption turn into belly fat. You must eat only broccoli.

Yeah, as long as you eat all the other stuff and exercise. When you exercise your metabolism speeds up. So basicly you can have anything you want. I play soccer for my highschoo and I can eat and eat forever and not gain any weight.
