No, AIDS is still spreading and the number of people that have AIDS is growing. African Americans really are showing high numbers of AIDS infection, as are many third world countries. Also, we can't forget Africa. Its ever so prevalent there. It has just sort of changed groups of people it does infect now. People now know more about AIDS and how not to get it or give it. They also know that it isn't an immediate death sentence like it used to be--now, there are medications but they are very, very costly.

Oh it's spreading like wildfire in some third world countries. But in this one, AIDS has been effectively diagnosed and quarantined for the most part.

According to the latest statistic I've heard, it's still on the rise and among African Americans. I'm sure more cultures are in the mix as well. I'm just sharing what I've read recently. Come on people...let's get it together. Y are we so oversexed about everything? sighhhh

Neither...AIDS is still a huge problem - and not just in Africa. Asia and America have a growing problem as well.
