I would go to the doctor if the symptoms persist or worsen over then next few days. Otherwise there is a cheap blood test that is offered all over the place to test for HIV. You should both be tested regularly as all sexually active people should.

yeah there is that possiblity.. But you knew that when you started dating a junkie... I dont see why anyone would want to get mixed up in that mess... I wouldnt mess my life up for noone like that.. My bf(soon to be husband) use to smoke weed an drink b4 we got together but he hasn't touched either one since im so happy for him.. But that was one of the things when we got together it was me or the drugs an boose.. I hope your test come back NEG.. an learn your lesson from this one if it does.. best of luck

It is a good idea to get tested regardless of whether he shoots up or not. If you aren't practicing safe sex then aids tests are a definite neccessity

Just go to the clinic and get tested. It is confidential and then you will not have to stress over it. You both might have the flu.
