my x told me he had is n i ask him how long it takes to show signs n he told me 2months but i really dont know how long it takes......

The incubation period for mononucleosis is 4 to 6 weeks though it can be shorter in children.

Symptoms to look for include:
fatique
sore throat (even strep throat)
fever
swollen lymph nodes
night sweats
rash
swollen tonsils
headache
loss of appetite

Also, on exam, your doctor will notice an enlarged soft spleen.
