As far as I know, THC is only present in marijuana, or the prescription drug marinol. It is not a common ingredient in any other medications.
If you were around people who smoke, you can pick it up into your system, even if you do not take a hit yourself.

There are actually quite a few medications that can give false THC positives - the most common I think being Ibuprofen. Are you taking anthing which includes this as the active ingredient?

like what was said above a lot of anti inflammatories can make you test positive but a more indepth test will prove negative....usually you get false positives with fast pre employment tests ....but you can request a followup test and it should test negative...unless of course you have been around people or in a crowded room with people who are smoking...then your pretty much screwed...if you havent been in that situation i would also request that a hair sample be tested.

You will test positive if you have been in a room with tokers and it is even worse in a vehicle....my ex tested positive for this reason.
