Smocking is legal in most countries...most people are free to make as many smocks as they wish of course if they sell them then they would need to declare their earnings to the IRS otherwise they would find themselves on the wrong side of the law, see point in case "Heidi Fleiss"

A lot of fashion from the Sixties and Seventies is supposed to be making a comeback but I still think smocks should be illegal.

smoking can give you a really lovely effect on the front of dresses. My mum always made all me dresses when I was tiny and used to smock the front of them.
Smoking however, is a different matter lol. It would be a good move as the nation's health would improve and their would be fewer deaths from heart disease and other smoking related diseases - but i don't think they will do it because of the huge amount of tax money it generates

Smocking, Wah! Hilarious. Cant wait for your best answer, or your next question come to think of it. You're a scream.

I don't see why not.
It's kind of old fashioned but very cute on baby clothes and little girl's dresses. My grandmother used to hand-smock some of my dresses when I was small.

If you mean smoking, as in cigerettes, then yes, it should be legal. It is already a heavily regulated business. People are stupid to smoke. Why is it the government's job to keep people from doing stupid things that only harm themselves?

If you're now going to tell me about secondhand smoke, yes, it stinks. But there is little research to prove it is harmful, although taking smoke into your lungs in any form has got to be bad for you. I personally just keep away from those who smoke, when they smoke. It doesn't really bother me if people smoke, as long as they do it away from the inside of my house.

Now, if you're referring to smocking, I guess it should be legal, so artists don't always get paint on their good clothes.

Smocks are ugly. They should be banned except in art studios and hospitals.

Smocking is a very attractive look, particularly for the younger lady. Don't knock it. You can often see their t*ts through it.

I love to wear smocks. I have yet to be arrested for it.

Yes, in fact it should be compulsory.
If we all wore smocks then cultural/religious/gender based differentiators would be removed from plain public view and we'd all get along much better.
