To clarify- my husband is on Starlix medication, not insulin, and on the web it says you can experience back pain- however my hubby has a bad back, that normally improves with chiropractic adjustments.

Hi
I have been a diabetic for 22 years and just found this website about 3months ago. This is a great website for diabetics.

I am on diabetic medication but not experiencing back pain., What type of meds are you own? You might want to check the side effects of them or consult with your physician. I am currently using an insulin pump and I love it.

I was on meds but have got off them through diet and exercise. I did not experience any extra pain when I was on the meds (also have a chronic back problem);
