I've only had two "partners" but I've only had oral sex, no penetration. Its been a little over 5 months since my last sexual experience but just last night a noticed a bump on my vaginal lip but it doesn't hurt or itch and I don't notice anything unless I actually feel for it in my hand or look at it through a mirror. I'm scared it might be an std, is it?! I'm going to get tested sometime this week when I get an appointment but what doesn't add up is why I haven't had any symptoms of an std except for this 1 single bump, and I think atleast one of my partners and their new girlfriends would be bitching if they had an std as well, plus I didn't think I could get an std without penetration. My friends all think it is a pimple and is common, am I just worrying over nothing? Do you guys think I have an std?!

hard to think anything is wrong if no penetration existed. could be a simple pimple, could be a wart(doubt it)

good hygiene and relax,.if it persist and if it get red itches or any change see a physician.

You dont really have anything tow really worry about, if you shave there than all it is, is an in grown hair, but you need to be careful out here all the same, rather penetration or not STD's are still around. http://www.4woman.gov/faq/stdsgen.htm

How do you get an STD?
You can get and pass STDs through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Trichomoniasis can also picked up from contact with damp or moist objects such as towels, wet clothing, or a toilet seat, if the genital area gets in contact with these damp objects. Some STDs cause no symptoms. But STDs can still be passed from person to person even if there are no symptoms.

You are more than likely dealing with a zit from an ingrown hair.

You do not have an STD.

Regardless, you need to EDUCATE YOURSELF.

Go to a doctor, go to a school nurse, go to your parents, go to a reputable STD website and LEARN THE FACTS! Do not engage in sexual activity or sex until you know them! Honestly, there are thousands of free resources available to you and you are asking a pretty ignorant question that could easily be answered from basic knowledge. There is no excuse for being ignorant while being sexually active in the US.

Do you shave it? It could be an ingrown hair. I doubt if it is an STD.

It's probably just a pimple or infected hair.
