I thought I had a yeast infection and went in to get tested and had trichamoniasis, then went back 2 weeks later cause I still had itching, although it was more on my anus. I also noticed what looked like a small tear or cut on my anus. I went back and found out I have herpes 1. Is it most likely that I got these from the same person since symptoms occured at basically the same time? And is it likely that I just recently got them?

First of all....You people are wrong for calling her all these names.
If she feels comfortable asking the question, then people should give her a straight, honest answer....While your talking **** on her you ought to watch yourselves. It could happen to you. YOu think you know who you're sleeping with, but you actually may have no idea. How would you feel if someone gave you something, because they cheated on you? How would you feel if your partner knew they had an STD, but didn't care and gave it to you anyway...just watch yourselves---thats all I'm saying.

Herpes can actually lay dormant for quite a while. The other has obviousley happened recently. So, yes, it can be from 2 different people......

You don't know? That's really bad. That means you have had unprotected sex with more than one person recently.

Could you have gotten them from the same person? Yes. Could you have gotten them from 2 different people? Yes.

If you've slept with more than one person in that time period then it's possible that you got std's from different people. Whatever the case, alert your partner(s). Best wishes.
