See a doctor to have the ulcer properly assessed. To prevent ulcers occurring you need to keep to a healthy diet, and try to keep up some sort of exercise, to keep blood flow to fingers and toes.
You might be interested to know that New Zealand Manuka honey has been found to in clearing up Skin Ulcers, Burns, Boils, Varicose, Diabetic Ulcers, Pressure Sores, Wounds, Cracked Skin, Acne, Atrophic Eczema. Cuts and Grazes.
Clinical trials show honey's antibacterial properties are proven to assist wound healing1-6. Manuka Honey has also been shown in one study to be a useful adjunct in the treatment of antibiotic resistant wounds. And are being used in a hospital in New Zealand, to assist clearing up wounds, after developing a honey dressing.
This new treatment and research maybe worth following for any one who is having problems with ulcers, that are not healing under normal medical treatment. My hubby who is insulin dependant is certainly interested (thankfully he has had not any ulcers yet).
Hope the ulcer heals soon

theres not really much you can do to seal an ulcer. You really need to be on a special anibiotic that kills the bacteria that gave you the ulcer in the first place. Go and see your local doctor asap. All the best!

This is an old wives tale, used by an old wife's husband...my uncle. He used to blend cans of beets and drink them. He swore it worked.
