Does my sexual partner need to be treated?
Although it is rare, you can transmit a yeast infection to your partner through sexual intercourse. If your partner begins to develop symptoms of a yeast infection, talk to a doctor about treatment options.

If you are female and you have a yeast infection, you can pass it to your male partner through sexual intercourse. I passed it to my first boyfriend, because he was not circumcised! It was disgusting, but I gave him some of the cream my doctor prescribed and his yeast infection went away.

Yes I did it with my wife way back in 1971. The doctor told us if we both didn't take the same treatment we would
pass it back and forth.Trust me Listen to your doctor.

When it happened to me I was told no intercourse until finished with treatment. So I'm assuming it was because it could just be passed back and forth between me and husband.
