Stop wasting my time, you are an ignorant for asking that question. Leave Vegetarian and Vegan alone and have a life

Shut the hell up and get a freaking life, seriously. Why do omnivores complain about we vegans yelling at them all the time when it's mostly them?

To answer your questions, for your information, my hunting-fishing-meat-eating-against-PETA father thought the vegan muffins were some of the best he had ever had, and so did I. Dairy products cause acne and are disgustingly horrible for you. Eggs are pretty much a chicken's period.

I don't eat meat for health and environmental issues as well as the animal rights issue. And your "animal heaven" comment was immature and unnecessary. First of all, is it okay that Laci Peterson was murdered, just because she'll go to heaven? No, it's not. Scott will burn in hell (if there is a hell) and hopefully so will you.

Do you honestly have nothing to do that you sit around and insult people without even knowing your facts?

Meat-eating causes global warming, so next summer if the predictions are right and we have over 100 degree weather everyday, then we'll have you to thank, just like we will when part of the US's Atlantic Coast goes underwater because of the ice caps melting.

You're a waste of human life.

And obviously you haven't done much research because you can't even spell vegetarian. You're a freaking retard all around, aren't you?

Good question.

To some of the previous answerers, why on earth would you trust Peta? They are a propaganda organisation set up to spread the word of veganism, and they don't really care whether the facts they show are exaggerated or false, as they usually are.

Peta really cannot be trusted at all. It says meat is unhealthy; it isn't. I says meat is an unnatural part of the human diet; it has been proven we evolved to eat meat. They say a veggie diet can end world hunger; it doesn't. They say meat is bad for the environment; in fairness it sn't great but they exaggerate the facts, and ignore that without meat there wouldn't be enough food in the world.

I don't think the 'I don't like the taste' argument is really viable either.

I quote: "People like the same things. People prefer comfort to pain, temperate warmth to bitter cold, kindness to cruelty, strength to weakness, fun to boredom, laughter to grief. A species that evolved to eat a mainly meat diet will also have evolved to like meat. We do. We even prefer good meat to bad meat, cooked meat to raw. Indeed, anyone who eats meat and enjoys it will know that meat is the most gloriously delicious thing there is. It has a peerlessly nice texture, and a great taste. More, after a vegetarian meal, a person misses out on the protein rush that meat gives. This, I’m told, is one of the cues which switches off the feeling of hunger (others are the physical feeling of a full belly, and a steep rise in blood sugar levels). Consequently, vegetarian meals are never as satisfying. It is very unlikely indeed that a person would really not like meat. Further, there are many types of meat, and it is even more unlikely that one person would dislike all of these tastes by coincidence.

The meals these people do eat often imitate meat, and meaty things. This does not match the argument that they do not like meat. If a lack of liking were the only reason, then they would have no objection to eating meals with a little bland meat in them. A little mince in a stew wouldn’t bother them in the least, but strangely, it bothers them a lot.

The people who claim that they don’t like meat just happen to be predominantly of certain predictable sorts: females, trendies, liberals, politically confused, collectors of allergies, urbanites, dungaree-wearers, etcetera. While it could be coincidence that these people also happen to be the people who happen not to like meat, the chances against this are ten to the power of my overdraft to one against. There must be another reason."

People have different reasons for being a vegetarian or a vegan. Some dont agree with the factory farms and the animal cruelty. Some dont like the taste of meat, and others dont eat meat because they believe that humans were not ment to eat meat. I fall under all three. If you want to find out more about vegetarianism try www.veggie123.com.

Ohhh and to the person that said he is fighting global warming by eating animals. Well if eat meaters didnt eat so many animals then we wouldnt have so many cows, and therefore less green house gas. So you really arent doing a darn thing.

And god didnt make animals for us to eat. Biologically our bodies are more like vegetarian animals than meat eating animals. We dont have pointy teeth, and our bowls are too long to properly digest meat.

Try that site....it really explains everything

I've been a vegetarian for more than half my life now, including my entire adult life. Last year I accidently took a bite from a meat pasty believing it to be a vegetable pasty, it was disgusting and I nearly vomited, I had to run to the tap and wash the foul taste out of my mouth.
Does that answer your question?
Yes, I despise factory farming but I would not eat any meat no matter how humanely it has been treated.
As for your statement about God created animals for a reason, I refuse to dignify that with a response.

1. personally, i dont believe there is a god, thats a load of crap. 2. i dont want to support the meat/dairy/egg industries. the conditions are horrible, the cows are constantly impregnated, and we dont need to harm another animal any more to be able to survive. i dont want anything to have to suffer for my meal. and yes, i love all my vegan meals. i feel 100x better than when i wasnt vegan.

Because that's their choice. I on the other hand am doing my part to help fight global warming by eating one greenhouse gas emitting cow at a time!

Edit: People you really need to lighten up...It was a joke!!
