Of course it is, in many ways. You have to understand the concept of it. People get it..they dont tell the people they are having sex with that they have and then it spreads like wildflowers. Look on the internet there are tons of resources that will explain it to you. Word for word. Theres many different types of herpes some are really bad some are not. you just need to do some research.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. It can be when the conditon becomes serious and gets painful based on what I read about it.

I got them about 8 years ago, when I have an outbreak it hurts like h ell but no danger to a man, Luckily I havent had an outbreak for a couple years.

Herpes can not kill you but they are infectious and can be spread to other people. They are painful and embarrassing to those that are infected.
