I agree with lakerboy15. Most people can tolerate a bit of liquid in the lungs, but if you are compromised, you might not even be able to tolerate 10 cc. Irritation from aspirating some saliva - like a mouthful - could set up a chain of events leading to death. It's unlikely, but possible.

I know someone personally who choked to death on probably less than an ounce of liquid that was aspirated.

You can choke on anything. Including a teaspoon of water.

i wouldn't think so i choke on it all the time usually it slides down my throat or i cough it up but really i would say yes just because i almost did it one time
