I have always found that the best ways to solve the problem is to straighten my back and square my shoulders, then take several very deep breaths. Usually, it takes me less than 30 seconds before my hiccups clear up.

However, if you have prolonged bouts, you may want to seek medical treatment. According to wiki;

"Hiccups may be caused by pressure to the phrenic nerve by other anatomical structures, or rarely by tumors and certain kidney disease."

they don't..... to verify that somebody to get 'cured' of homosexuality, they might desire to opt for to alter. in addition they might desire to wish for God's help and actively attempt to alter... The church can not extremely do something (different than say that that is incorrect, that may reason human beings to opt for to alter, even if it does not do away with the gay thoughts someone has) to make someone end being gay. there's a gay couple in my church (i don't understand who they are). they have been going for years and have not been 'cured' of it yet. The preacher preaches that homosexuality is a sin, yet does not hate them (or every person else) for being gay. My church hasn't 'cured' them, and that they are nevertheless residing in that sin, because of the fact they don't opt for to alter (or maybe they have tried to alter, even if it replaced into too annoying and that they gave up).

Have someone plug your ears while you drink a full glass of water. I actually heard this on Paul Harvey and it really does work. My boyfriend always gets a spoon full of sugar and eats it all, he said it works for him. If you are a smoker don't smoke, smoking makes them worse.

What works for me is eating a spoonful of peanut butter very slowly. Kinda keeping it in the roof of your mouth and sucking on it.
